Big Wreck

Big Wreck is a Canadian-American rock band formed in 1992 at the Berklee College of Music in Boston by Ian Thornley and Brian Doherty, along with Dave Henning and Forrest Williams. They gained prominence with their debut album, In Loving Memory Of..., released in 1997, which featured hits like "The Oaf (My Luck Is Wasted)" and "That Song". Despite disbanding in 2002, Big Wreck reunited in 2010 and has since released several albums, including Albatross (2012), Ghosts (2014), Grace Street (2017), ...But for the Sun (2019), and 7 (2023).

In July 2014, Big Wreck performed at the Big Music Fest held at McLennan Park in Kitchener, Ontario. The festival, spanning from July 11 to 13, marked its first occurrence in Kitchener and featured notable acts such as Aerosmith, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy, Bryan Adams, Styx, Collective Soul, Moist, Bleeker Ridge, and Kim Mitchell.

Additionally, in 2018, Big Wreck embarked on a North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album, In Loving Memory Of.... and pictured below for the 150th Anniversary of Ontario sponsored by the province of Ontario.
